RAYNET our communication team, BEA Systems First Aid Team, Ulverston Inshore Rescue.
Although we like to stay with our own dedicated charities for reasons especially connected to Fred, we do find that some riders raise money through the ride for their own special charities, this year this amounted to £12,774 all through Justgiving,
Prizes for making the most donations this year were awarded to the following riders
Strachan McCormick Congleton – £3,037.00
David Stewart Aylesbury – £2,293.00
Alexander Cartwright London – £1,955.00
A Big Thank You to everyone who made the big effort to go out a raise money for our very special charities, it is not easy nowadays to collect donations from family, friends and work colleges, but it is greatly appreciated from all here at The Fred Whitton Challenge.
Footnote: If anyone has a Youth Cycling Project they are working with, and are looking for funding, please contact the Fred Whitton and we will see if we can help in any way.
We hope to see you all again next year.
Paul Loftus MBE President of the Fred Whitton Challenge.
